Kerry has nearly 20 years’ experience as a Children’s Nurse. She has worked in a variety of settings including surgical, medical, neurosurgical wards and in the community as a Nurse Team Leader. She has gained extensive knowledge and training in caring for children with ABI, enteral feeding, CP, Moving and Handling, epilepsy, oxygen management, promoting continence including catheterisation, administration of regular and emergency medication, CPR, end of life care, oral and nasal suction, home IV’s, attending MDT’s, risk assessment, pain management, devising and implementing guidelines and policies.
Kerry joined CCMS as a Case Manager in 2018, she brings a wealth of knowledge in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care within a package of care. She has experience of recruiting, training and supervising support workers caring for a child with complex needs.
Kerry is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) pin: 96D1226E and is a member of the British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM)
