About The Role

2 x10 hour shifts per week 8.00am – 6.00pm on a rota basis, including every other Saturday. This position will come with a degree of flexible working to support the pursuit of interests in live music, extra shifts and the cover of staff sickness and annual leave.

Support and contribute towards the planning and delivery of individual care, supporting in all aspects of daily living, as our client has physical, sensory & cognitive disabilities and is wheelchair dependent.

Work with a treatment team of therapists (SALT, Physiotherapist & Occupational Therapist) to complete therapy programmes, motivate & engage the client in recreational & educational activities. Experience in delivering therapy programmes is desirable but full training will be provided.

Experience of working with young adults with physical & cognitive impairment is essential. The position is suited to someone who has a positive attitude plus the ability to motivate & engage. The young man is a music enthusiast, loves comedy and likes to go out for food.

Someone with a musical interest would be preferable but not essential.

A current driving license is essential. Experience of driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle is preferrable, but not essential as training will be provided.
