Minnieke has 13 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist working in a variety of settings. She has experience of providing assessment and treatment to adults with stroke, brain injury, progressive neurological conditions, amputations, burns and a variety of orthopaedic conditions. Minnieke has a special interest in the cognitive and behavioural problems associated with acquired / traumatic brain injury.

Minnieke joined CCMS in 2016 as a Case Manager, bringing her experience as an Occupational Therapist in providing initial assessments, planning and delivering rehabilitation packages, and working within a multi-disciplinary team. She is taking a lead role in CCMS supporting team members with housing assessments and manual and handling assessments. Minnieke is also taking an active role in providing Brain injury training to support workers.

Minnieke is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (OT 42279), is a member of the College of occupational therapists, the Specialist section for Neurology and a member of the British Association of Brain Injury Case managers (BABICM). Minnieke was involved in establishing a Headway Group in the Harrogate and Rural District area.
